The Core Drivers™ concept was created in 2012 when we found that 90% of our clients did not want traditional psychometrics. They said they were tired of being put into boxes.  

Instead, they told us they wanted a fun product that shows them what people actually need to perform and thrive! Practical tips and a concise but meaningful report. Our clients asked for a different approach: with no "most or least" scoring, and a more dynamic and thought-provoking experience.

Our proprietary Bright Core Drivers™ system was created in New Zealand. The cards themselves have been specially designed, and are underpinned by many years of research, development, and testing.


We love the fact that several of the cards give people a clear visceral reaction – when you read through them, you’ll notice some of the cards really jump out for you and for your own unique reasons


The Bright Core Drivers system was originally only used internally within Bright Team's recruitment processes to help us improve our placement stick rate from around 75% to a staggering 99%+. On occasion, some of our clients have been curious about how we have achieved this result and asked, “What’s your secret?”


After a fair amount of deliberation, we decided to share our insights and our unique Bright Core Drivers system itself, and we have never looked back.
